Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) data was developed for Oil Spill planning and response in Mississippi and adjacent waters.  Our office produced the ESI data in 1997 and it was updated in 2009 by the Mississippi Dept. of Marine Resources and RPI. The two altases can also be downloaded from our publications page under Coast-wide.
